Dear colleagues!

In order to strengthen international cooperation in combating coronavirus infection, develop scientific exchange and increase the national capacity of partner countries to combat infectious diseases, the IV International Conference "Combating New Coronavirus Infection and Other Infectious Diseases" will be held in St. Petersburg on December 7-8, 2023.

Partners from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Eastern Europe, Transcaucasia, Central, South, East and Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America, members of the World Health Organization are invited to participate in the conference.

Key issues to consider:

  • COVID-19: epidemiology, virology and immunology;
  • Post-COVID syndrome (long COVID);
  • Experience of molecular diagnostics and epidemiology methods application to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic;
  • Prospects for the development of drugs for etiotropic therapy of viral diseases on the example of the development of drugs for COVID-19 etiotropic therapy;
  • The experience of studying the formation of population immunity against SARS-CoV-2 in the light of the implementation of the "Sanitary Shield" program
  • Vaccines against SARS-CoV-2: experience of creation and prospects of rational use;
  • The role of public health education in ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being;
  • International experience and international cooperation on counteraction of infectious diseases;
  • Experience in making rapid organizational and managerial decisions in responding to emergencies caused by biological threats (using the example of the COVID-19 pandemic).

Forms of participation: off-line and on-line

To participate in the event, you have to register on-line by filling in all the registration form fields. On-line participation involves viewing the entire conference in real time and is available to everyone.

For off-line conference participation you need an access code, which will be sent in formal letters of invitation. The amount of off-line participants is limited and is offered only to experts from scientific, medical and educational organizations

In case the epidemiological situation changes before the conference begins, swabs for a PCR test can also be taken from all the participants (information about the date, time and place of testing will be additionally sent out to the participants).

The nearest streets for parking personal transport are Galernaya St., Konnogvardeisky Boulevard, Admiralteisky Prospect (near St. Isaac's Cathedral), Voznesensky Prospect (near the Angleterre Hotel), as well as all nearby streets. The cost of parking in Admiralteisky district is 100 rubles per hour. Parking for 15 minutes is free.
